Lessons on the Transition Phase

In every unfolding or self-realization journey, you will find the transition phase. Some people call this the “dead zone.” The holding space between your old consciousness and your upgraded consciousness. I think of this as the space where one chapter ends and another begins. When one mission is completed and we’re gearing up for the next one. In manifestation, it would be when we are waiting for a vibrational match.

This phase is confusing because we are multi-dimensional beings experiencing life from several different levels of consciousness simultaneously.

In the past, transitional phases felt stressful because we only experienced them from the ego-mind consciousness. With this perspective, we are steeped in the stress and worry of making the right decisions and being overwhelmed by everything happening at the same time. Imagine a soul connection ending (we know they never really end), a divorce, a job ending, AND (this is the dead zone) a new job beginning, a new partner connection being realized, a new level of consciousness emerging… all slightly overlapping at one time. This traditionally would have been daunting.

Transitional phases are very different when we experience them from the soul’s consciousness. When we navigate transitions with the soul’s perspective, we approach life as an observer. We have given our faith and trust to God, knowing that they orchestrate this life. We see things coming to a close, and our new chapter of life unfolds in front of us as if we were watching a TV show. Everything is calm as we watch our life unfold moment by moment. We also understand that everything has already happened in the realm of pure potential; we are now just seeing it manifest in reality. We are witnessing life catching up to us!

The confusion stems from the reconciliation of these two perspectives. We aren’t accustomed to living from the soul. So when we lean too far over into the ego mind, we get confused and start to worry about whether we are making the right choices, and we struggle. It’s essential to find balance by staying committed to our spiritual practice. Whatever that means for you, whether meditation, breath-work, or praying. We must maintain our relationship with God to hear their whispers and follow their guidance.

When life gets wild but also feels calm, almost like nothing is going on, amidst massive upheaval, we can find ourselves in this beautiful new position of allowing and living in the eternal now with complete trust in the Universe. Welcome to the present moment!
